The Michelada is one of the most classic beer cocktails, so it is a natural place to begin.

  1. 1 shot tequila
  2. 1 lime wedge
  3. ½ oz lime juice
  4. 2 dashes worcestershire sauce
  5. 2 dashes of your favorite hot sauce
  6. 12oz of your favorite lager

Mix the tequila, lime juice, worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce together with ice. You may choose to add in a pinch of salt and pepper for added flavor. Rim a glass with the lime and rock salt, and combine the ice mixture with your beer and mix the finished beverage for 5-10 seconds with a spoon.

Irish Car Bomb

This simple drink is one of the most well-known beer cocktails, and is the jumping off point for most beer drinkers as they begin to experience the wide world of beer cocktails.

  1. ¾ shot whiskey
  2. ¼ shot irish cream
  3. ¾ pint glass of stout or porter

Combine the whiskey and irish cream into a single shot glass, and simply drop the whole shot glass into your pint glass of beer. Enjoy the resulting mixture slowly or quickly. This drink is a great celebratory beverage for St. Patrick’s day.

Sparkling Boilermaker

For a sparkling boilermaker, we take a classier approach to the “drop a shot in a beer” idea to include more flavor and fun.

  1. 12 oz pale lager
  2. 1 shot bourbon
  3. 1 can flavored sparkling water

Pour your shot of bourbon into the bottom of a pint glass. Fill the glass about halfway with your beer, and pour to avoid a head. Top the glass off with your choice of sparkling water. You can have a lot of experimenting with this recipe. Find beer, bourbon, and different flavors of sparkling water to combine for a wide array of different flavors!

The beermosa has become a favorite pairing for morning brunches everywhere!

  1. 6oz lager or IPA
  2. 6oz orange juice
  3. 1 orange slice

Simply mix half a glass of beer with orange juice, and garnish with your orange slice. That’s it! Now sit back and relax.
